Combines 8780 vs R 62

You're comparing the two finest combines to ever roam the earth. They're pretty equal in corn_beans with perhaps the MF having an ever so slight advantage from simply having more cage area. Gleaner heads (for the rotaries) do not fit MF rotaries. Gleaner C62 conventional heads will fit new MF 8680s and the new 8780XPs with black feederhouse. I cannot possibly recommend one over the other; just your preference. Natural flow vs. big axial flow.

Thanks for the input. Couldn't help but notice your nickname. Do you run a 9720IJ Heard through the grapevine that a guy who raises seed beans for a seed company that we do has one and JD STS. Claims that they have similar capcity but White has far superior grain sample. We run R-72 and R-60 and when it comes to capcity and cleanout beating Deere is like taking candy from a baby. Can beat them every time and under every condition. Im looking forward for Massey come back with a Class VII machine. I believe its vital for there survival. I've always heard the 9700_20's were awesome machines.
