We run an 8560 and in corn we run the rotor at a minimal of 370 the book say's 300 but that is to slow and all the corn end's up on the left side of the machine. We open the concave as wide as it need's to be until we see shell corn coming out of the chopper just a couple kernels about 3 row's into the standing corn. Then we close the concave to the next closest number on the concave lever usually around 6.As for the fan I run it at 750 and direct the windboard to the front as much as I can.Sometimes if the corn is extremly dry you might need to open turnbuckles inside the machine this will open the concave even wider but remember to tighten it back down if you do wheat. The front and back turnbuckles are to remain evenly spaced between the 2.Hope info. helps cleanest corn i've seen come out of a combine if set right I laugh every time I run by the neighbor's as he run's a deere and has to screen all his corn to get the grounds out of it.
