I think it will be 25% mre than a 1688 in most crops and conditions. I like my 8780xp.

John, What kind of problems are you having lately with your 8680...I'm on my 3rd year with a C62 (same combine). I had a lot of problems at first but the machine seens to be getting better with age (and experience). We do most of our own repairs. How many hours do you have on it IJ I have 2000 on the engine and 1500 on the separator.

The 8780 is a bigger combine and will put a cleaner sample in the bin,and yes you can bale behind a 8780.

My neighbors 8780XP leaves the best "balable" straw I've ever seen from a rotary combine; -almost as good as a conventional. He replaced a 1688 and noted at least a 30% capacity increase, and his 1688 was "no slouch" either.

I had a MH 90 for a few years,it had a full leveling system on it. It had a leveling bubble on the dash and a lever that manualy leveled the machine. It could cut a 35 or 40% hill. The super 92 also had leveling it was the last hillside combine for Massey untill the 8780.
