What kind of literature are you looking forIJ I have a '84 version of the sales brochure with all the 20 series combines and the 6601 and 7721 combines in it.

you have just what I'm looking for. recently purchased 8820 late '83 model @ dewitts annual combine sale in Sikeston, Missouri. gave $11,500 and spent $850 to have it delivered to lascassas, TN. other than a few lose wires, i am very pleased. it appears to have been very well taken care of. some people buy boats and jet skis and sport cars but i buy john deeres. tell me what you will take for your literature in a quick email or call collect (615) 273 2434, (615) 390 1404 cell. thank you.

I am sorry to say the brochure is not for sale. Ever since I got that brochure when I was six years old I have been dreaming of the day when we finally owned a 8820, I flipped through that brochure for 14 years waiting for the day that we could finally have one. Now I have a 9000 (9600) series brochure and a CTS brochure on my nightstand, just waiting for the day that we will have one. There is definently something about owning a piece of equipment and looking through its brochure and saying, "I own that", even if its a little older now. If you need any info from the brochure I could definently relay it to you. If I find another brochure I'll let you know.

We have an antique store in town that has a little collection of old farm equipment sales brochures. I'll try to get in there and see if they have something for the 8820.

You should see the pile of brochures I have. Everthing from Flexicoil, Bourghgult, Brant, Summers, Case, and many more. My mom already starts to cringe when she sees me flipping through any new brochures because she knows that I will be shopping for somekind of equipment. On my list know is 90 foot field sprayer, a 9680 Versatile, a 45 foot Flexicoil 5000 airdrill w_ tow behind aircart, and maybe a used JD flexhead. Now you see why my mom is nervous!

Sorry to report that I was not able to find any literature for the JD's. They had a little Case, NH, and Massey stuff from the right timeframe, but all the JD stuff was for tractors. Good luck!
