Does your engine have a recently installed temp sending unitIJ

If it doesn't rain tomorrow I'll get her in the field and try her out. I'm going to check the sending unit to see if its a new one. I'll let you all know what happens. Thanks AJTIII

If the sending unit has been recently installed make sure that no teflon tape has been used on the threads. There must be brass to metal contact.

If your top hose is hot and the bottom is not most likely your thermostate is stuck shut.

like I said, if you ground the wire to the sender, the gauge should read HOT.
