Combines 8820 T2 and chopper updates

Porky, The 8820 TII capacity-wise is about the same as a 9600 and much greater than the 9500. Having ran beside 9600s in beans, I can tell you the 9600s will out run you by ~ 1 mph everthing being equal...mainly due to the sickle in my circumstance. The 8820 TIIs are some of the most reliable machines JD has made. I usually run 1500 acres through mine every year with out any problems...just make sure you go thru it during the winter. Creature comforts are not equal to the 9600s..With 2600 hrs ( assuming these are cylinder hrs ) check the bars and concave and feeder house floor for wear...Also might want to look at the augers since one of these machines can move alot of grain in a short time. If you are going to put a 930 head on it make sure you have the extended auger....Don't know of any mods for the chopper, but if you have a loader it is not too bad to handle...good luck
