Yes, leave the header on, just make sure you prop it up so it can't move so realignment isn't a problem. The hyd. cylinders can be tied up out of the way with wire when you're moving the machine, but you'll want to drop them down out of the way when you're working. Suggest you remove the cylinder first, since you can block it up on the concave in order to maintain some alignment while you're driving out the shaft. After the cylinder is out, access to the concave is much easier, and a cherry picker works better in that instance than a front end loader -- reinstall in the same order. The cylinder shaft is tapered on the outer portion, but the splines just inside that area aren't -- however, unless the splines are bent over or twisted, the pulley usually comes off very easily once it's started. Suggest you replace bearings while you have the opportunity.
