chadh: I would assume the rolls turned free by hand after the new front supports were torqued, and not cocked or misaligned. It's not uncommon for a new assembly like that to run "warm" after a period of time, what with the renewed clearances and all, but not so much they can't be touched. I know the rolls thrust to the front while under load, but I do think some "wear in" will help. However, 25% corn is gonna have very wet stalks that will pull hard and add to the heating event, so it may be a little of both. Keep them slobbered with grease. Believe it or not, I grease 5 shots every 2 hours or so on each zerk. Cheap insurance. What do you guys thinkIJ
