Minnesotaboy, The parts book lists the 24T sprocket as standard but there is also a 28T sprocket available. The part number for that is 199181C1

Put both 24t sprockets on the same side then put both 32t sprockets on the other side that will give you a one to one ratio.

Do you think I'd be better off getting the 28 tooth or the 24IJIJ I'd hate to buy 1 set then find out later that I need the other one. What do you guys run on your headsIJIJIJ I generally run about 5mph in 130-150 dry corn. Too much shelling on the head when I have it fast with the 32 tooth driving.

Minnisotaboy, I run a 1000 series corn head and on that I run the standrd 35T sprocket. I have put on the 26T sprocket when cutting dry corn in damp conditions to help with corn head shelling. It helped but it also cut my ground speed way down. Before you buy another sprocket try what Silver Bullet suggested.

run a 1:1 ratio on 800 series,800 series gearboxes are different ratio than 900 and 1000 series boxes which require greater than 1:1.
