Combines 918 or 218

I moved from a 218 to a 920 on my 9400 about 4 years ago. The 900 series is worth double the 200 series. Cutting speed is double. Poly is fantastic. Have ruined fewer sickle sections and guards from the reel fingers accidently getting into the sickle. Although, I have broken several plastic reel fingers when combining too late after dark and pushes up dirt, but that's my fault for pushing my luck. I've heard that the same positive comments are being made about moving to the full finger augers, but haven't found the extra dollars yet.

so what was wrong with your 200 that it would only cut 2.5 MPHIJ My 216 cuts cleanly up to about 5 mph. I think it feeds better than my neighbor's 915. I really can't see anything better about the 900 except higher price for deere. GS

why not buy a 20 ft head instead of a 18IJ We run a 920 on our 9410 and get along great. I would find a little more money and get a 920f.
