I am waiting for delivery of my new 925F head this week. I am trading in my old 920 which I used on a 7720 and later on a 9500. Since both combines used DAM, the old head hooked up properly to both combines. My new head came shipped without a sensor or drive hookup on the head. The dealer had ordered it this way not knowing which combince it would be used with. It is my understanding that the dealer installs either the DAM module or the newer style depending on the combine being used. They will also install the appropriate drive for my 9500. My salesmen says that it is common practice to switch the two sensors due to trades. For example I have a friend who used his newer 920 head on his 9500 with DAM, now he traded for a 9550 but kept the head. The dealer swapped the sensors for the newer style so that the head will work with the 9550. There was also the drive and wiring considerations on this particular one.
