If you do like it (I don't know any owner who doesn't) don't look back at the price you paid, it will make you unhappy compared to today. Deere has caused this problem of fast depreciation by chasing the big rollover dollars which are just a bigger load for the dealer to shoulder. Now the dealers are full of inventory they can't move. You could pick up such a machine at a sale last summer for around 40 to 50 grand. According to the book from last September, it should be worth around 60, but the market has been really soft on them. Regardless of the value that you arrive at, figure that it will lose around $5000 after you run it this year.
