Combines 936d tyne reel flexing

i suspect there is more than the reel bounce involved.. When you take the cutterbar weight onto the feederhouse and off the gauge wheels, the centre stays put, but the ends flex way down, taking the reel supports with. Then add some flex in the reel tube, and you magically have shorter fingers in the middle....and centre feeding difficulties in short crops. I have heard of an aftermarket support kit in Oz for the Deere drapers, but havent actually seen one. I understand it consists of cables and a centre truss over the main beam to give some end support. I don't know if it helps the problem at all. Try posting your question at http:__combineforums.proboards42.com_ and_or http:__u15205752.onlinehome-server.com_forums_forum-view.aspIJfid=2
