I can guarantee you that I'm no expert, but did you check the evaporator under the training seat and the associated filter behind the seatIJ I can never remember which one is the evaporator coil and which one is the condenser coil. Anyway it's the one under the seat.

It may be that the temp valve that controls the heater is not shutting off enough. I have a 91 9600 that never cooled as I thought it should until I put a valve on the heater hose. When it is 100 degrees out I have the valve only very slightly cracked, and as the temp goes goen I open it further. Try it with a vice grips on the hose first to see if that works.

Yes we did. The service man had the seat out and he said that everything looked fine there. Thanks for the reply though. Right now we can use all the help we can get.

It sounds like too high head pressure. As the condensor pressure goes up, the evaporator pressure_temperature will too. Could be several things. Maybe there's air in the system. Was it evacuated with a vacuum pump when re-chargedIJ Might be the wrong or mixed refrigerant. Are the condensor fans running and in the right directionIJ Is there a possibility the high side line is pinched or resticted somewhereIJ Hard to figure out over the net. HTH.

I assume it was evacuated when they did the flush last year. It was done by JD so I can't believe they didn't. I'll check the condenser fans. I never thought about them running the wrong direction. We looked for pinches in the lines but didn't see any but we could have missed one. It sounds like you're thinking the same way we are so it's nice to know we're not missing something simple. I just wish it was something simple. JD now thinks there's crap in the line somewhere and they want to flush the sysem again. Thanks for the response.
