Well it could be a number of things.Thermostat_need to recore the radiator_waterpump_or the cooling fan is on the slow pully.Its probably the radiator,its getting about time..I had to recore my 9600 I use to have a few years ago because of the same problem you are having.

Why would you replace the core because of overheatingIJ Was it also leakingIJ Mine got to running hot several years ago, and I had the guy at the radiator shop rod it out and it solved the overheating problem. My combine was made in the 70s, and the radiator guy said the core was good and solid. Replacing the core in a combine radiator is an EXPENSIVE proposition!

You are right.It can be roded.Every time I had problems I always had something wrong with the core to.I wasn't thinking.
