arron...i presume we are talking about a 944 corn front...it is highly unlikey to have jumped a tooth and not giving u big trouble...have a look for movement the roller may off come loose on the shaft or the roll pin has broken out..u can tighten up the rollers more by splitting them down the sides with a angle grinder allow them to nip up more and maybe save u some bucks hope this helps

Had the same thing happen on an 883 cornhead. The problem was a drive connector at the top of the roll. It has a square hole that rounds out from wear and makes that roll look like it's out of time. Just remove the bottom bearing holder and pull the roll out to get to the part that needs replaced.
