Flipper, You need to put a sidehill kit on your shoe -- they run the length of the chaffer and sieve and keep the grain from settling to the downhill side -- both my machines have them and it makes a huge difference. On the 9500 there are probably several aftermarket kits and i'm betting deere makes one to or if you see a way make your own.

Your precleaner and chaffer sections have dividers which the finger rods pass thru. Try adding to their height by bolting pieces of light (about 16 or 14 ga.) sheet metal to the sides of these dividers. About 3" tall is usually adequate. These pieces can also be welded to the dividers, as well, if you skip weld and don't make the dividers hot enough to warp them.
