never ever take the valve block apart without first,,,,, lower feeder house to the ground, hold the down button for 10 seconds after the f_h is down, then close the accumulater valve,then tie the blocks to gether, use wire etc. leaving the one you need off. Make sure you have the right pipes and orings(they come as a set, long and short) If you did not follow this you may have blone a button valve in the stack.....hope this helps...

THANKS FOR REPlY. IF BUTTON VAlVE IS A PlUG ON THE SIDE OF THE BlOCK THAT YOU TAKE OUT BY PUTTING A SCREW IN IT AND POPING IT OUT WITH A SCREW DRIVER YOUR RIGHT. GOT IT BACK TOGETHER AND HAVE NO lEAKS.I DID NOT TURN OFF THE ACUMAlATER WIll THIS AFFECT ITIJ AND lEARNED YOU CAN DO All WORK ON VAlVES WITOUT TAKING THEM OFF.

without closing the valve you will still have pressure in the system, same as having the f_h raised,,,,if you got by with it great,,you may have already taken the pressure off, by holding the f_h button down, yes that is the right valve. hope I have been some help to you. By the way I am a tech for a jd dealer.
