if your returns are very low that u are not got alot of peas going through u can leave open the door and let the trash fall to the ground rather than go up teh elevater..u may also look a maybe putting a scaper paddle in on your chain to scape the sides of your elevater...how is u clean grain elevater handling it mud work is not nice is it ..

This may sound crazy, but could you open things up a little to increase your returnsIJ A little extra volume might help everything feed on through.

Just an update, we replaced the rubber paddles on the top with 1_4 aluminum plate and reduced the clearances to near zero. We did a hundred acres today and never plugged once. Tommorrow morning I intend to put a scaper paddle on the chain as some buildup is causeing vibration. Thanks for your idea. I don't mind your english, you and I think practical ideas others just like to blow their horns! After all good english never supplied any cheap food to his table eh!
