I will speak for my neighbor who grows white and food grade corn for a Frito plant nearby and runs a late model 9500 with 6 row 36" head. They are docking most of the loads for damage (cracking, grinding) because he can't keep the machine full enough. Yields are in the 180-220 range. In other words, the head won't pick it fast enough to keep the machine full. So, you would probably see poor grain quality running a 4 row head on such a large machine. Hope this helps.
