8520 Guest Oct 9, 2005 #1 just get a new pump, they go bad all the time pumps just go bad, wouldnt hurt to put relief valve in, but that is a common failure of that pump

bh Guest Oct 10, 2005 #2 Yep, happened to my 9500 two years ago made a heck of an oily mess. It just split down the side. Changed the relief valve just in case that might have contributed to the problem. Washed on it for a while to get all the oil off.
