Yeah, I always wondered why JD introduced the 24" diameter rotor in the lone 9560 STS. I suppose it does give them a mass market evaluation of the benefits of a smaller rotor, greater Fc, Centrifugal Force versus the 30" diameter rotor in the rest of the STS line. Also lets them compete directly against the Case 24" rotor. It might also be nice to have the 24" rotor in the parts system if they wanted to build a rotating concave cage _ bi-rotor around it and stick them incognito inside the 9660 and larger STSs. That would make worldwide field testing much easier. Pretty slick move on their part.

I found a farmer with a brand new (2006) 9560 STS here locally. He has not had it in the field yet. He was disappointed when he found out it did NOT have the updates included on the rest of the 2006 60 Series line. No bullet rotor, no overhead air intake system for radiator, and battery is still up in the engine compartment. He will be using a 6 row cornhead and 20 foot flex head with it. Dealer was out this past week upgrading the cornhead and bean table for the multi-link connector. Already added on flared graintank extensions. Are there any particular additional information needed related to itIJ
