Sorry to say it but spend the money on the wheat concave. My neighbor fought the round bar with inserts for three years. Finally bit the bullet for the wheat concave and has been happy ever since.

800 seems like not enough wind to me. What kind of wheat are you finding on the ground, threshed or unthreshed kernelsIJ

Put in at least the first and second small wire concaves, you might get away with the round bar and inserts in the third. Make sure the concave is level and zeroed in. It's all in the operators manual. Concave clearance around 12 mm. Rotor around 820-880 rpm. ( the faster the rotor the more likelyhood of rotor loss) Fan around 1100 rpm. I pressume it has a fixed pre-cleanerIJ Get an adjustable one and run it at 12mm in wheat. 20mm in corn. You can run with the fixed pre-cleaner but it's not as good as an adjustable. Top seive 16mm - whatever is written on the side of the machine and in the operators manual is very close. Bottom seive 6mm. Make sure you actually measure the louvre opening. Don't rely on the indicator on the side of the machine. Zero the indicators to what is actually happening. The operators manual is a very good starting place with these. I have always adhered to the phylosophy of: "if all else fails, read the instruction manual"

get rid of the round bar concave for wheat,,,run small wire through the whole rotor,,,we run the rotor as fast as it will go on hard to thresh wheat and wind up to 1000rpm ,,,also on hard the thresh wheat ,if we are getting white caps,we run filler plates on n1,,n5and n6,,,as 5and 6 is where the return comes out this gives more rub on the wheat,,,,maybe open your chaffer alittle more,,,might help,,,,but try one thing at a time this will tell you where you are needing changes
