Now you have me completely lost. I'll try to paint a clearer picture. On the left side of the machine the return grain elevator takes the crop back up underneath the cab. It dumps it on an auger that pushes the return crop back into the threshing area. This auger is the one I am referring to. Clear on the right side of the auger where the end of it is inside the tube there looks to be 3 bolts that are supposed to be there. Mine only has one left in it.....least all I see are threads sticking out from one bolt. I see two holes that should have bolts in them according to a 9500 I saw. How do you get in there to replace the missing boltsIJ Do you just pull the auger shaft out and then reach in and put in new bolts in with a long extensionIJ What is bolted to the end cap of the auger tube exactlyIJ Is it a wood block inside of there that the shaft runs in or whatIJ I'm completely lost as to what is in there that the bolts are supposed to be holding and how you get in there to replace the bolts. Probably still clear as mud but that's the best I can explain it

Thank you Friend!! Now I am at ease....I was really getting worried that there was alot of work involved. I'm not sure about my serial number.....this machine is a 94 year model but I'll have to do some looking. This Vibration.........Would it feel like the seat is about to shake you out of itIJ I was always under the impression it was the cylinder out of balance but now I wonder........... Thanks again.

Jojo It's insured.....let em steal it! *grin* I run mostly wheat........Some sorghum in the fall but wheat is that girls main source or work. I had the dealership take the filler plates clear out when I bought it as I knew I'd never be cutting any corn with it in the near future. I still occasionally get a vibration but I've found starting up the cylinder......rapping the engine up to full load.....then letting it wind clear back down to a complete stop about 3 times and that takes care of it. I then get to where I just leave the cylinder running all the time until we change fields and then I'll shut it down. As for the mechanic showing up.........The guy running the machine and the guy that works on it are one in the same. 65 bucks an hour shop rate...I can do alot of messups on my own before I'm behind on that game. Take care

Well maybe I'm a tad bit off. last work I had done up there were some baler belts last spring and I can't remember what they charged. But your darn tootin they own thier own homes from the deere dealership...not to mention the oldest and head mechanic (one in the same) was seen driving a brand new chevy pickup last month. Probably has been sacking it away but still alot newer than anything I own.
