I may be wrong, but, as I look at the parts book, the 60 tooth sprockets will slow down the cross augers. Sometimes augers will carry more at a slower speed but maybe not in this case. It is my opinion that you will unload faster with the 49 tooth sprockets than the 60 tooth. Hope I have'nt caused confusion.
The larger tooth sprocket will slow down your unloading rate significantly. The reason for the larger tooth sprocket is to slow down the feed rate of the rear cross tank auger.The reason for doing so is that most rice in this area is cut at 21-24% moisture. Hard to unload at the beginning and end of the day.In all Maximizer combines the first 20-30 inches of the rear auger wears at a faster rate than the rest of the auger. You have full flighting on the rest of this auger, consequently it is pushing the rice from the right side to the left side. The flighting is unable to move it to the vertical unloading auger fast enough, so it pushes the auger out of the right side of your tank. To avoid this keep your cross tank auger in top condition. Also take the bottom cleanout covers off of the vertical unloading auger drive and inspect the flighting. You can have a good look with a flashlight and determine the condition of the flighting. The first 30 inches are double flighted to help move the grain faster. If you see that there is 2 or more inches of wear you should reflight the double flighted section. If you have the misfortune of losing the rear auger, shorten the unloading chain and put it on the front auger only. You will then be able to unload 95% of the tank. Saves a lot of time.
