It takes very little sideslope to really knock down your combine capacity due to shoe losses. I seem to remember a test in Canada on a NH TX combine with a leveling shoe and they reported being down to 50% capacity on a 17% slope when not using the leveling shoe. Hillco has some numbers on their site too. They are trying to sell levelers, but I suspect their numbers are pretty close.
