In our area the guys with edible beans cannot get the wood to last, even the lownen ones. The guys with only grain, soys, and corn have good luck with the wood. Most have edibles, so most in our area have the grease boxings.

The loewen wood blocks have worked great after they started putting out the new improved ones.

The wood bearings seem to work out great for us. Seems like unless you grease them religously they dont seem to last like wood ones do.
