Combines 9610 vs 2388

I bought a 2000 2388 that has 5800 hr but was rebuilt for 45000

Where are you locatedIJ Do you like to keep the loss behind the combine really lowIJ I think you will struggle to keep the loss from a 9610 as low as a 2388 when you push them to max capacity. The trick on any walker machine is to keep the grain from ever getting to the walkers. I think some folks get it figured out, but most don't. I have no idea how to set a 9610 up, but find the 88 series very easy to deal with.

I hire custom harvesters to help in wheat harvest and have never seen a JD throw over as much grain as our 2188. Randy

With keystock grates, it would seem the loss must be coming over the chafferIJ Have you looked at the loss with the monitor to see how the rotor loss compares to the chaffer lossIJ Specialty rotor, I assumeIJ
