One wire is ground, one is 5 volt excitation and one reads the 0-5 volts from the sensor so the dim light is the 5 volts. make sure ground is good

Thanks, The 5 volt was the info we were missing. The dim light made us think it was the wiring, but it actually turned out to be the circuit board. After seeing the price, we'd rather had it be the wiring.
