Sorry, I should have said. Around 4500 Acres, pretty evenly split between corn and beans, located in Northern Iowa. If anyone wants or needs rain, we have plenty here in Iowa I'd like to send them!! Jonesey

I was jussst wandering if the 9650 STS's are now equipped to handle a 1293 corn head, last year they weren't and I haven't heard anything about them being updated to run one. 95man

I asked the same question, was told I had to order the HD feeder house to be able to pick up the heavier head, (same feeder house that is standard on the 9750STS).

I have run a 9650 with a 1293 ch all fall. I doesn't shell at 5.5 or 6 as some will tell you that the 9750 does, but it doesn't cost $150 per horse more either. We average (when the combine does work) 14.9..15.6 acres pre hour generally shelling at 4-4.5 mph. The combine handles the 1293 quite well and I know of no modifications needed to do it
