What'ya mean nervousIJ Our STS's would run circles around our 9600's! Better sample more in the tank. Our STS's are all around the 686 seriel numbers meaning they are not the newest by no means, and they have held up good. But our 9600's also would eat and run very good! Not much downtime in the field with either styles. I think ya would love the STS. Have a safe and profitable day.

A local JD dealer sold a used STS recently. After that the man bought $ 10,000 worth of parts to fix it. We had four, bought at around 700 hours and traded at around 1100 hours. The dealer had been through them and put $30,000 worth of parts into those. After we were through, the new wheat concaves were junk, the steel rotor housings had wholes blown through. To make it short, we went back to conventionals. They are good enough in our low yielding wheat and the concaves last at least two years.
