No problem on rear with 14.9X46 (most common tire around hear). You could have some trouble up front. Common tire to go along with back end is 14.9X30. The dish for that size tire and rim on most if not all 9690's could not be flipped for they would run into anchor for tie rod. In this case we needed to order dish and rims from newer tractor like 9695. This would get you in the rows but you would need quite a headland to turn her around. I've seen the front end on a couple machines set out to 120" with spacers but that puts alot of pressure on things. I wish we could just stick to 22" and 38" rows!!!

the one i got from nddan is it is also dualed in the front now but u have to swing out wide to turn for 16r30 also somewhat of a thirsty bugger as im finding out used whole tank of fuel to plant 200 acres at 5 mph w_16r30 throttled back to 1800rpm but it has mucho grande power an needs bigger tires than 14.9x46 if in soft conditions august wieser rosholt, sd

Did you check how many gallons it tookIJ If you used a hundred gallons you would be in the 1_2 gallon an acre range which doesn't seem bad. You see a fair number of rear ends tripled with the 14.9X46s if needing the extra floatation. Be carefull navigating ditches and with air pressure if running that wide. PS: We're taking good care of your old 8030 2 wheeler. We have a fresh cab kit in her and she's looking for work.

thanks dan just looking back at the actual usage and acres with idle time road time etc... most of the time it comes in just under 1_2 gal per acre throttled back to 1850 rpm have only been traction or hp limmited a couple of times traction when the going gets sticky of course... that 31row planter is close to a boat anchor and horse power was very rarely limmiting one field had small steep hills and i ripped it last fall and had just filled the 2bu boxes the row units were sinking aprx 8in in the soft hillsides the only real gripe i have with the tractor is that i want to plant in 10th and the shift up and down from 9th is very inconsistent and the a_c has a flaky switch somewhere it will just quit out of the blue and you will have to fiddle with the temp and fan switches and it will start up again a real plus is that the a_c works even better than the 8030 which could freze you out on a 100 degree day glad to hear my 8030 is in good hands and lookin good i was just missin her the other day when i was thinking about haying season, its a really great baling tractor (low wide and a power shift) and when i was getting ready to hook up the air drill cause now i gotta change the pump bracket and mount the monitors and my cab in the 9690 is getting full how have they been mounting the triples on the 90sIJIJIJIJ it sounds as if the hydraulic pump is running all the time.... thanks august wieser rosholt, sd

I'm fairly sure we run trans threw calibration but not hard to do again and instructions in operators manual. Make sure you hesitate a few seconds before making upshift or downshift from 10th or 9th and see if it is more consistant. If you find it consistant then but shift is still to fast or slow you can change a couple constants or offsets in trans controler. This might require a copy of instructions from service manual. First guess on intermitant a-c would be fan switch especially if fan quits. Even if fan isn't affected it could lose connection on terminal of switch that feeds currant to a-c thermostat switch. If you could catch it bothering and then have test light ready to check currant at a-c thermostat switch you be able to pinpoint problem. I've seen band triples and very long drum extender coming off hub bolts. Hydralic pump does stand by at full pressure. Normally not to noisy unless master safty relief ball is leaking. If it gets quite when you run a hydralic function the ball relief may well be leaking off high pressure oil.
