Have you tried a CTSIJ We run a CTS II small grains special and we will trade for a newer CTS rather than the STS when the time comes.

Are you having trouble feeding material thru the machine, or is it a thresh_separation problemIJ

The problem is due in part to a real wet fall and down rice. Feed accelerator doesn't want to turn loose of straw and kick it in rotor so then it wants to go back down throat . That causes a strain on accelerator belt and then throat chain will jump time on the right side.Other neighbor's having same problems we never pluged our rotor but others did we were running a stripper header and weren't putting that much material thru our combine so separation was never real bad.

Did you know Deere offers other types of accelerator blades for tough conditionsIJ Are your blades goodIJ Is your accelerator drive belt on the fast pulleyIJ Parhaps some sort of stripper bar would work on the acceleratorIJ Food for thought

Which wear strips do you have on your feed acceleratorIJ -- the segmented strips used for edible beans might help some. We see this on IH at times, also. Too much wear on front elements require rotor speed which is too fast and the rotor won't pick up material off the chain correctly, forcing some of it to the left side. Same probably applies here -- trash is probably piling up, maybe not being pulled off the throat chain because it's piling up and the accelerator can't force it thru, or it's feeding back over the top side of the accelerator. Either one will cause the l_H chain to tighten as material gets entangled in the sprocket and throws the right side out of time. Hope this makes sense.

A Cts will do a better job in rice but in beans it is a differetn story if the stalks are a little green. I would think that the down rice would feed into the rotor. Try speeding up the Feed acc. I would have a little problems when we started in the morning and late in the evening but it was alright after that. Changed the FA belt though and it wasnt tight enough. Might check that too. Mkaes a world of difference
