Combines 9750 s 12 row heads

I run 2 Deere 9750 STS combines each with 12 row and 30ft heads. 1 Kinze 840 cart, 3 semis (Kenworth, 2 Macks) and 2 10 wheels (Mack, Ford).

Rooster, The limiting factor on both machines is usually the head. 5 30 foot platforms versus 2 30 foot platforms does not look good for your argument regarless of which bean group type. Your Cat machines have more power, but were not designed for Corn or Soybeans. Yes, they will handle tough material and have power. But the grain damage and ability to keep the grain inside the machine are not what the CAT been known for. We demoed a CAT and a 9750STS in 200 bu corn last fall. The CAT would out run the Deere, but losses were out of control on the CAT. The Deere also had better grain quality and tooks 10% the time to adjust and get ready the second morning with ran both machines. Needless to say, we after comparing both machines bought two 9750STS and are very happy with the machines and their productivity.

who do you think got deer into the combine business back in the 30's. holt and best, the two men who founded cat, started making combines back in the late 1800's. in the 30's they sold off there patents to deere and co to concentrate on the emerging heavy equipment market. so cat has had past experience and who would have thought that is where deere combines got there start. for the record the lexion is the most gentle on grain and if the machine is set right you wont get a thing out of the back end. have seen 460's go through 65 bu green stem beans next to a 9650sts and leave them in the dust, along with having a better grain sample. the head is the limiting factor and that is why they are coming out with a 35 ft flex head in the near future. if the two cat's with 30ft flex heads are running 5.5 mph that equals about 34 acres and hour between the pair. the three deere's with 30 ft flex heads running 3-3.5 would equal about 35 acres an hour. pretty darn close, and that is not counting the extra hours the cat would be able to run at the beginning and the end of the day when it is too tough for other machines.

the ag community is going after the farm bill all wrong. all they need to do is have deere tell its customers what to grow and what acres to set aside and you would see a dramatic difference in the crop prices. ha!!! i cant see why deere customers are so blind and loyal. they have a cult following with most of there customers. if you take a look at the truck market deerelover all semi's are going for 50 cents on the dollar. trucks that have cat engines in them are bringing anywhere from 5000 to 8000 dollars more because of the engines and the technology in them. why do you think 3 of the biggest trucking companies in the u.s. run cat engines in the majority of their trucks, according to your thought process it must be becaus they want to lose money. they run them because of reliabililty, fuel economy, longevity, and resale value. mr. werner and co. may know a few things about trucks that you dont deerelover. why do you think deere is out buying business in the tractor and combine market. they are scared to death of the threat cat poses to them. cat hasnt taken over because of two things 1) deere giving away machines and buying business for ridiculous prices and 2) cat has a business plan for small incremental growth, you have to walk before you can run. had a deere salesman tell me the cat dealer would not sell another cat in his county and he had the corparate checkbook behind him to make sure this happened. if deere wasnt scared why do they make such promises, they have to sell cheap equipment instead of the valuable equipment. deere does make a lot of nice equipment and has done a lot for the agriculture. most everyone can agree on that, but please dont spout all the b.s. about everything else being fecal matter. cat is the leader in engine technology and probably will be for quite some time to come.

Sounds like your orifice is so plugged full of B.S. you are puking yellow fecal matter out your nose. Cat may be a good engine for the truck market. But you sure don't see many in the farming market like you do Deere and Cummins.

WITH your name why don't you just go over too your own little world and cry while you make them bigger payments on that so called combine that they had too paint yellow so they could hide it from all the class owners ! Just face it nobody on here wants too buy a kitty cat for a combine ! You know why they make them yellow like the toys so when the kids play with them in the sandbox the cat dosen't cover them up ! lol
