Combines 9750 sts keeps dieing

Most likely either the board under the arm rest or the board in the corner post. Have had major problems with both and either can cause the symptoms you are describing. This is most likely if the machine is a 2002 or earlier. The electronics in the early machines are about to break us, can not keep the machines running in the field.

Could it be a venting problem in the fuel tankIJ Perhaps the filler capIJ

It is the little black box inside the big black box beside the hyd oil tank next to the engine this was on a 9500.

The code that keeps coming up is AOO 13 47.07 The system has been updated to the new style,it gets its fuel from the bottom,and has the fuel rail system. They changed all of the lines from the tank to the filters,and the check valve going into the pump. They have also changed the relay that powers the pump. Today it was alot cooler here. It worked fine for about 5 hours. then it started again,dieing about every hour. About 7:00 it died 5 times getting the grain tank loaded. That was the end of another frustrating day on the 9750. I told him to tell the dealer to bring me something tomorrow that would run , or he was going to have a big green combine hanging from his ass,after he jams it up his.

Have the Deere techs checked the positive battery cable from the battery to the "black box "above the fuel tankIJ Our machine would die like you indicated, especially after several hours and at night when the lights were on. Deere found bad cable at the positive battery post!

ram that combine in there A$$ gleaner and get pics they could be worth something some day might want to check what the temp of fuel is there was something about that on self propelled deere choppers around here a year or so back with biodiesel especially they would lose power and die down they had to install a fuel cooler to make it work right the one chopper i know has a old oil cooler off of a 4840 mounted on it for the fuel to run thru before it gets to pump and it seemed like it only did it after it was goood and warmed up dairyfarmer

Yeah, we have had that trouble with the battery cables also. They look good but if you peel back the rubber at the very end you can see the corrision, and you can not get it clean enough to work consistently, only option is to replace it.

We had this happen to our 50 series and I could say that its a 99% chance believe it or not its the control board under the armrest that operates the throttle.Be ready for the price when you get the bill $1500 Aust.Took our dealership days to find it so might be worth having a go even if it doesnt help im sure they would take the board back. hope this helps

We had similar problem on 9650 STS SN HO9650S692175 a couple of months ago. Engine would go to low idle, 1100 RPM but not die completely, (so your problem may be different). We had to replace AH171010 arm rest circuit board. That fixed the "derate" problem and has worked fine for 300 hrs and the rest of harvest.
