palouse i have seen 9750's with spreaders in arizona in 120 bu wheat, and they don't chop it very well,or spread it very well, it seems to windrow it without a chopper. does require a lot less horsepower though. green straw barley is real bad in arizona also good luck. wazcutter@aol.com

I don't know how much a 9750 chews up wheat straw, but I think almost every Axial Flow in the Palouse is equipped with a straw chopper. If the grower is involved in no-till or min-till the chopper is even more important. Also, the heavy chaff load over the shoe would almost require a chaff spreader if you didn't have the chopper.
