Combines 9750STS Water Pump

The pump doesn't get rebuilt, just throw away. The problem ist the almost inaccessible weep hole. It plugs up and we don't know when the water pump goes out until the coolant is in the engine oil. If you can manage to clean the weep hole, you should get a handle on it.

Coolant in the oil doesn't sound good! I'll check the weep hole. Thanks!

A neighbor of mine had the water pump go out on his 9760 and lost the engine this past fall. Some part of the pump got into the oilpan and messed up the oil pump and the engine locked up. Deere put a brand new crate motor into it because the farmer caused such a stink about it.

Ralf, I am pretty sure it was a 05. 9760. It was a one year used machine from another neighbor or ours. It basically went from the east side of us to the west side. He had tons of problems out of the throat reverser too. That had him shut down for 3 or 4 days this fall alone. Hows life out in W. Kansas these daysIJIJ Have a good year at the dealershipIJ

Just replace the pump. We have had two combines ruin the front cover when pump goes out. Not the ideal thing to replace out in field in the wind and dust.
