it sounds like there are too many knives on the rotor, which will chew up crop and overload shoe. Also consider removing reverse bars if you are not experiencing rotor loss. This would allow material to move through rotor faster with less MOG getting on shoe.

Remove block off plates. They are not recommended in book. Get better shoe ditribution if plates are out.

I know my reply post is a bit late, but removing the blank plates will help the most. Don't take out any knives. The knives are in there to prevent rotor loss and removing them will not lower shoe load. Also, make sure the chaffer is open wide enough. The 9000 MF machines are fairly senstive to shoe loss if the chaffer is closed slightly.
