Well here is my 2 cents about the 9790, We demoed a 9790 in heavy beans, green stems and all. We run an R-75 and like I have said early, the Massey is quite an impressive machine and to tell ya the truth its almost to simple to think it could have the capacity it has. Both machines had 25 ft heads and the Gleaner had an air reel, which increases capacity also. I would not be a bit scared of the Massey as a matter of fact I think the girl has very similiar capacity of the 75. The 75 will walk the dog on hillsides where the Massey, as with all other combines but silver ones that dont have some type of leveling system on them, will have to slow down a bit on slopes. If you want to compare the massey to the IH 2388, not a problem, the big massey will walk the dog. I dont know how she will compare to the 8010 or 9860, but seriously look at the simplicity of the 9790 and then decide. IT IS THE SIMPlIST MACHINE ON THE MARKET. They can all tout how simple they are but massey is able to prove it, all you have to do is climb around her and compare to the other makes and you will see. Ppl say its the same as the old massey rotors, well no its not. Do a little investigating and you will find alot of differences that produce more capacity. Agco spent quite a few $'s getting this girl to where she is now, its simply a dream to run. Dont be shy around her, she likes to run
