Oh, possibly. But I think it was a lack of motivation. Had the Southern Rednecks been able to see 200 years into the future and see the mass exodus of retired Yankees invading the south to reside (ever seen a southerner retiring to DetroitIJ) and bringing with them the attitude of 'how they used to do it back up north' , the war would not have lasted 10 minutes!. lew Grizzard used to say daily - hey, if you don't like the South -Delta is ready when you are!
