Sounds like you need to do a bit of leveling. The first thing I would check though is the shims on the bottom of the header throat. These are often over looked and are important. The header can move around on the feeder house if they are not shimmed propperly. First make sure the wedges and shims are even there.....if you raise you header all the way up and engage the safety stop you can slide right under the middle of the feeder house. On both sides, where the two meet, there should be a wedge and a stack of shims. move the shims from the bottom to under the shim until there is the thickness of one shim clearance between the top of the wedge and the bottom of feeder house. often we have to remove the header and grind this are of feeder housing flat as there is a production weld that gets in the way of a good fit.
