Good question. I can tell you the 9860 has plenty of power. Do they throw in the big auger with it for that priceIJ

So its 15000 extra including you already getting the auger. You do get the bigger hopper with 9860 also Can you get bigger hopper on 9750 if so how much does it costIJ What about 8o1oIJ That may be a good optionIJ

you can equip both the 9660 and 9760 exactly the same as the 9860. Just went through this excercise as I bought a 9760. When equiped the same, big auger and bin, touchset, heavy duty lift and reverser etc the price difference we got quoted (CDN $)was 96 - 97 was $8000 and 97 - 98 was $20 000. For $US multiply by .8. I felt that for 20G, the power differnce would not be worth it for our operation. What I should have done is bought the 96 and chipped it, but decided not to screw with warrenty.

the 9660sts high capacity unload option which includes the 300 bushel grain tank extention is $4144.00(US). the 9760sts and 9860sts come standard with the high capacity unload and 300 bushel grain tank extention.

If you are going to be combining a lot of corn with a 12R30 head get the 9860 according to specs the 98 has only 35 more hp but when you put them side by side a feild it seems like a whole lot more when running a 30 foot corn head also that 12.5l motor has a longer torque curve and will hang in a lot longer than a 8.1 before it pulls down like I said before you only need this power for running the big corn head the 35' flex head is a walk in the park for any combine including a 9660.

Talk to your dealer and get them to look on their dealer service assistance. My dealer printed off a sheet stating all of the differences in the machines including the heavier clutch ect...
