Combines 9860 works like a champ

Glad to here your machine works good but 3000 per hr is not that good for a class 8 combine many class 6 combines will do that fairly easy my 88s will do 3500 and were hoping the 8010 will do 5000. May be you were not pushing it either Good luck Harvesting.

This is my 2nd year with my 9860 and is veary happy with it. Had only a couple of updates. Did about 4000 bushels an hour in corn driving 4.5-5 mph. That to me is fast enough. Beans you cannot drive fast enough with the 35 foot head. It was a real pleasure to harvest in beans. Good luck and hope you guys get dried out. We are very wet in southcentral Minnesota.

FR thats a very impressive figure. But I think you missunderstood greenbean. He posted that he was harvesting 3000 bph not burning up 5000bph like those 8010s.

At 3,000 bph, I believe he was including the time it took to open-up and change fields; - 3,000 is still an impressive number.

I guess if you have alot of small feilds and have to move 10 20 miles probably but with 2carts and 12 row that is not that good, around here alot of 1_4 sectons and irrigated the 9650s and 9750s would eat it for lunch including the 2388s at only 3000bph. But I have been told the roter and seives are the same just turned the power up and raised the price a tippical deere trick and J.D. guys fall for it,! not all thow.Have a good day and start early so you can get your bin full. I'm speaking in terms of 100 and 200 acre fields, like we have here in Southwestern Ontario. Even moving a mile or two down the road can "eat" 45 minutes of "down time"! It makes a huge difference to your averages. I'm not "green" but from what I've seen of my neighbours 9760 so far; - I'm impressed!
