You forgot to mention, that more than likely, one out of five crops will get lost or hurt to frost, snow, drought, etc. Also, not all land is the same, but the inputs are. So some lands will only average 30 or less, with still the $200_acre input.

Yep,thats all true,thats why I'm saying "aprox"and"average",every region will have its unique threats etc,but for a general comparisen,just for curiosity,if we keep all other things equal how do the diferent regions_countries compareIJ

Average cost per acre here (central Wi.) is 200.00 per acre. Corn_Soybean rotation. Average net return, 0-25.00 per acre. Any land for sale by youIJ

Here in this part of Ontario (about as far south as spring wheat is grown) $200 will just rent you the land. Seed, fertilizer and spray will cost approx. another 115 plus fungicide if needed, field operations and labour. It's an expensive game to play.
