That cylinder speed seems slow. When we were running an A we used the 500 rpm sprocket for corn and an 800 rpm sprocket for soybeans. Check the cylinder height, about 1_2 to 5_8 for corn, less for beans. By the way, our old A was never able to run in any gear but low, and sometimes that wasn't low enough. Good luck
