since you are not going deeper and u only have a 1000 rpm pto ; looks like you should have no trouble just pulling the brake hsg. If it were me I would pull out one of the thinnest shims while I was in to tighten up the brg which I am sure is loosend up a tad thru the yrs.IJ

Thanks Tbran, The cover came off easy enough, but I couldn't get the brake housing to budge. Changed the 2 little o-rings on the test port tubes and think I've got it fixed tho.

Hey there camshaft. Do you use that tractor for all the odd jobs etc IJ Spraying IJ Did your Deutz engine in the combine start to play up IJ Have'nt posted on here for a while during the off season. Been flat out on hay and ground work. Bye Peng

Hey Pengs, This is my sprayer tractor. My Dad and I bought it new back in '74. It's been a real good tractor for us. (Only new tractor I've had) My deutz is fine, I give it the old blow job every morning. Uses more oil than I like, have to check that out before harvest. We got a bunch of snow this week, plan to start seeding as soon as it dries up. later......camshaft
