I haven't ever had trouble with accelerator rolls except for needing to be replaced. If you really think something is wrong I would suggest taking the drive chain off_belt off and turn them by hand. Otherwise you might take and dust them good with chalkline chalk and turn the rolls to see if there are marks of contact. Hopefully the right roll kits are on there - I've heard of worst things.
