Can you see the rubber knobs on them, yetIJ If not you are overdue for replacement. Factory ones costs more than aftermarket but are made with harder rubber. Kelly

Very important! And according to the service manual they are to overlap(no seeing between) but not touch, so your's are worn out! Equal gap is necessary to align new roll lugs.

Farmboy, Shoe loss and hillside capacity are greatly affected by worn acc. rolls.Do you still have the old style tire carcus rollsIJIf so,you will have to update to new style acc. roll shafts that accept the new style bolt on replaceable lugs.If you need shafts, look in salvage yard. You should be able to get a complete set used for around $1500.(Shafts alone will run more than that OEM).If you need the replaceable lugs, you can get them aftermarket,(Sorry Kelly!)they come from the same mold as OEM for about half the price. If you already have new style acc. rolls, check to see if metal insert in lugs are starting to show. This is a sign of definite replacement. Not so fast there Hyper. Gleaner wanted more hardness from the original supplier but he wouldn't do it. They switched to another supplier and took their molds with them but not before the first supplier had copied them. Now the original vendor supplies the aftermarket with lugs that are not as hard as the factory supplier.

Just because the rubber is harder does that justify doubling the priceIJ Agco could sell more of there "harder" lugs, as well as other parts, if they would bring there prices more in line with the aftermarket suppliers.dslman

Kelly, I agree with you on the hardness difference,I just said they came from the same mold. But,I have run them side by side and the $85 for a set of four lasted just as long as the $126 for a set of four OEM.Run a test sometime and see if you get the same results.I would be interested to know your results.(Corn_Soybean country here only.) Didn't mean to step on toes, Hyper Harvest II

Tom, remember Agco dealers set their prices and the other dealer could charge that much. I had the exhaust stack on my 8050 price vary by $85 between dealers last spring.
