Your accumulator is supposed to work like that. Push the lift lever forward till the thing has completely equalized then go outside and close the lever. This is how to turn it off so it won't hurt someone working around it. Now open it a quarter of a turn and try it. Not enough softening actionIJ Open another quarter and do this till you get it like you want it. Works for me on a row crop head. Open too far slows action too much. But you need it with the flex-head on the ground so it can help the hydraulics catch up to field obstructions faster.
