The 9650 conventional machine has a feeder opening of 65", I think. You will probably have to change the drives as well. Keep in mind - does the feeder jackshaft on the J.D. turn at the same RPM as the Gleaner, or will a different gearbox_pump be needed to be able to run the canvasses fast enoughIJ I think you will be O.K., but just to make sure.

It is probably best to check with honeybee. I got info about which would best fit a gleaner,Newholland rotary was best because of feeder speed(has the same pump).9600's feeder speed was slower but dont know about 9650. the adapter for the frame was about $1600 a couple years ago.
